Yamaha League One football: Phuket FC sink Thai Navy in added time

SOCCER: Surakul Stadium erupted in celebration after Chana Sonwiset scored in added time to win the match for Phuket FC against the Royal Navy football club tonight in Phuket City.

The late goal was the only goal scored on the evening following a 0-0 deadlock in regulation.

With more than 5,400 spectators, the turnout was Phuket FC’s largest so far in the YL1 2013 season.

The victory ensures that Phuket FC retain their second placed standing in the 18-team league, while Navy linger in 13th.
